Group Information & Rules

What is this group about- This is a group all about great waterscapes. When we say waterscapes we mean photography relating to the element of water, this includes sea, lakes, rivers etc generally every picture that has as its dominant element water.

Who Can Join?- Anyone can join, anyone who is either interested in great waterscape photos and anyone who is interested in contributing to this group!

Submission Rules

5 submissions per month per member into the galleries. Contributors are free to submit as many shots as they want since they are the driving force of this group. The above limit has been decided to maintain the new deviation count of this group to a normal level.

Featured gallery submissions. You may submit to the featured gallery, however images which are submitted to, are reviewed from the admins and the contributors and then decided if they will appear into the featured gallery.
This is necessary to help maintain a section of high quality in this group where inspiring photography can easily be found.

Favorites gallery submission. Share your favs with us, from your personal favs collection! These images will be voted upon the exact same way as "featured gallery submissions" are.

Dear All,
Since most of the people don't even bother reading the rules, or even trying to understand the purpose of the group (waterscapes, which means dominant element the water) I have officially closed the public gallery to a restricted gallery.
Now for every submission to the public gallery a vote of 2 is required, the quality does not need to be the highest (such as the Featured gallery) but it will require a certain standard to control the amount of submissions getting through.
This is a nice motivation for you to start organizing your photography and deciding what is actually worth submitting!
Additionally to help control the number of photos getting through the limit of 5 per week is reduced to 1 per week! That should give you around 4 submissions per month.
Additionally I have removed ALL the submissions of the public folder in order to re-group submissions, there where lots of submissions UNRELATED to waterscapes and thus it lead me to re-organize things!
I apologize for the inconvenience I have created, but this was something necessary in order to retain a quality and people to follow the rules.
